When fatigue sets in form suffers so making slight tweaks to your lifts keeps tension on your muscles to promote greater growth, says Ben Pakulski

Form and fatigue
In an ideal world you would perform every rep with perfect form but this becomes increasingly difficult as your muscles become fatigued. At that point you need to get your head down and get the reps done or by making the move slightly easier.
Making moves easier
Knowing how to make subtle adjustments to the key moves to make them slightly easier so you can keep going is crucial to maximising hypertrophy. It might require a change in body position or grip or another small tweak to allow your muscles to keep working.
Tweaks for tension
This is why it is so important to understand how your muscles are supposed to move, their full range of motion and when they are at their strongest and weakest so you can make the tweaks needed to keep tension on the working muscles for as long as you can.
